As the arrival era of fragmented information, contemporary life pushes us into moments of fear in different dimensions. Mostly, when we receive information, a fictional scenario tends to stimulate our subconsciousness, which translates into a real moment in life. So I wonder how contemporary images could build up real feelings, specifically fear. And whether narrative with fictional could explore an existing inner perception. Even how much do we notice this in the actual moment?
In 'Silent Call', visual materials are collected from real life, movie, and literature. From here, I tried to reconstruct a series of narrative situations, set up by two approaches, staging and capturing specific moments. Intentionally, time is concealed, the exact location is blurred. Viewers are encouraged to open up their visual associations and awaken the subconscious through perception.
